  1. In my case, my first contact with Internet was really a geographical accident: you arrive from your hometown and your new city creates a need for using Internet because you have to find information to develop your homework...After this introduction I can say I had the opportunity to assimilate Internet like a tool however what happens with our students who were born within this system?

  2. Really interesting audio. On one hand, pedagogically speaking, it is really good material having in mind the structure of the program, the traits of the voice of the speakers –native speakers- and of course the linguistic side, that means the way they approach the person that is listening to them to some new vocabulary and content about an specific topic. On the other hand, I think it is a really good topic to study in class, because it is necessary to create awareness of how we are using technological tools every day and in almost every aspect of our lives. Discussing about how safe is the information we post in our social media accounts and being conscious of how much we can share on those pages, it’s necessary if we want to control the impact of internet in the way we stablish relationships with others. I would like to recommend an article I read about this topic, published in the journal Revista Colombiana de educacion, about how public relationships –the space between people, the way they behave in front on others and so on- have been changing since technology has become an essential part of our daily routines. For instance, one of the ideas of the author is that now, we can talk about “espacios incorpóreos”, that means spaces that are not physical or material and that is because the spaces we use right now are mostly virtual. The name of the article is Las relaciones sociales en público en la era digital, if you want to study more this interesting topic. Thanks for sharing your ideas.

  3. Great topic. I suggest to complement it with a more close approach to what the role of ICT'S is in education. For instance, according to Loveless (2003) ICT'S are important in the classroom and in education because "they provide accsess to the retrieval and manipulation of communication and networks of communication" (p.114) These networks can be developed in the classroom through the usage of computers because pupils might be felt more confident to assess not only their own learning process , but also the process of their partners. They can write comments or a podcast realising about their own mistakes and strenghts and in this way, they can help others to do so. This is just one example of how your idea in this blog can contribute to improve the communication process among students.
